New draft version of Creative Common 4.0 license available

Creative commons published a first release of their new creative common (CC) license version 4.0. Main focus of this new version lies on three aspects: it takes the needs of users into account who could not use version 3.0 so far because of conflicts with the national law, a maximum of interoperability to other copy left licenses and a maximization of usability. The current version is available for discussion and comments. According to the time schedule comments will be collected until end of May, in June and September further drafts will be published. CC 4.0 shall be finalized by the end of 2012.
