Asus introduces new memo pad with HD resolution

Asus introduces at the IFA a revised memo pad 7. The Android (Version 4.4 with a highly adapted interface named ZenUI) tablet with the model number ME572C has a 7″ display but a higher resolution than its predecessor, 1920 x 1200 pixel respectively. Also the CPU is now faster. The pad is equipped with a Intel Atom Z3560 with four cores.

The new memo pad comes with 2 GB Ram, either 16 or 32 GB internal flash memory, GPS and Bluetooth 4.0. The WLAN standard is 11n, 5 Ghz networks are not supported. Furthermore the 8mm thick chassis has furthermore a Micro SDXC slot. All in all the memo pad has a weight of 270g which is very light. For Germany also a LTE modem from Intel can be added with 150 MBit/s upload rate. The battery lasts for 11 hours, at the backside a camera with 5 Mpixel is placed. As

The price of the memo pad HD7 is 200 Euro, which is 50 Euro more than the previous version. So far no official release date was announced by Asus.
